YOUR LAYOUT.   YOUR ROUTINE.   YOUR KITCHEN.
A space for everyday life

From the first coffee
to the last plate.

More useful storage. A better place to prepare food. Room to gather. A new kitchen is a chance to make the space fit the way you use it, not just change how it looks.

Neart Construction offers kitchen fitting across Cardiff and South Wales. Whether you have a supplier’s plan ready or are still considering the layout, tell Greg what you have in mind so we can discuss the scope and information needed for a quote.

What does your kitchen need?

A new installation.
Or a bigger change.

Replacing a kitchen within its existing layout and changing the room itself involve different work. Let’s start with what you want to achieve.

01 / KITCHEN INSTALLATION

Bring your chosen kitchen together.

Share your kitchen plan, unit schedule and intended worktops and appliances. Discuss what needs fitting and which items you or your supplier will provide.

02 / LAYOUT & SERVICES

Make the room work harder.

If the sink, appliances or working areas are moving, discuss the related plumbing and electrical work alongside the installation rather than as an afterthought.

03 / WIDER RENOVATION

Think beyond the cabinetry.

If your plans include building work or more space, discuss the whole project. Proposed structural alterations need an appropriate assessment before the scope is defined.

Plan the details early

Good fitting starts
before delivery day.

Bring the design, supply arrangements and room preparation into one conversation.

01 / LAYOUT & STORAGE

Picture how you’ll use it.

Consider preparation space, storage and the route between everyday tasks. Share your proposed plan and the problems you want the new kitchen to solve.

02 / APPLIANCES & WORKTOPS

Know what’s being supplied.

Bring appliance specifications, worktop choices and supplier details. Dimensions, fitting requirements and any separate measuring or installation appointments affect the programme.

03 / ROOM PREPARATION

Consider what sits behind it.

Discuss removal of the existing kitchen, the condition of walls and floors, and any work needed before new units arrive. Let us know about known problems or previous alterations.

04 / DELIVERY & FINISHES

Join up the practical details.

Agree who supplies each item, where deliveries can be stored and which finishing work is included. Share your choices for lighting, handles, panels and decorating.

People behind your kitchen

From your plan
to the work on site.

Greg handles enquiries and quoting, Ben manages the project, and Jos coordinates the team. Discuss how updates and decisions will be handled before work starts.

Send your postcode, photographs, kitchen drawings and intended timescale.

02

Define the scope

Discuss fitting, preparation, related trade work and who is supplying each item.

03

Consider room preparation, service work, deliveries and installation requirements together.

04

Bring the details together

Discuss finishing work and raise any proposed changes with the project manager.

Understanding your quote

What shapes
the fitting cost?

A kitchen’s size is only part of the picture. Preparation, layout changes and the specification all affect the work involved.

Discuss your kitchen ↗

Installation & specification

The units, panels, worktops, appliances and detailing help define the fitting scope.

Removal & preparation

Taking out an existing kitchen and preparing walls and floors can involve different amounts of work.

Plumbing & electrical work

Moving or adding service points needs consideration alongside the proposed layout.

Finishes & wider changes

Decorating, carpentry and any related building work should be discussed when defining what is included.

Help us quote for the complete job

Share your plan, supplier’s item list, photographs and delivery dates if known. Include your budget range and tell us which items or specialist installations are being arranged separately.

Living through the installation

Plan for a kitchen
out of action.

Discuss how removal, services and installation will affect your household before agreeing a programme.

Think about temporary food preparation, appliance access, storage and the routes needed for deliveries. Tell us if you work from home or have particular access needs.

The period without a usable kitchen depends on the scope and supply arrangements. Ask which stages affect water, power and appliances, and how changes to delivery dates would be handled.

Your questions

Before we fit.

Can you fit a kitchen I have already chosen?

Share the supplier, drawings, item list and appliance specifications with Greg. Discuss what needs fitting, what is included in the supply package and any installation arranged separately.

Can you include plumbing and electrical work?

Neart offers plumbing and electrical services. Discuss your proposed service positions and appliance requirements as part of the kitchen scope, including any specialist work that needs separate consideration.

What if I want to change the room layout?

Tell us what you want to change and share any drawings. If the proposal involves walls or structural alterations, the appropriate assessment and design information need to be considered before work is defined.

Can we keep some of the existing kitchen?

Tell us which units, appliances or features you hope to retain. Their condition, dimensions and compatibility with the proposed work need consideration before the scope is agreed.

Who supplies worktops and appliances?

Discuss this at the quoting stage. Confirm which items you or your supplier will provide, who is responsible for fitting them and any separate measuring or delivery appointments.

How long does kitchen fitting take?

The programme depends on room preparation, layout changes, specification and delivery arrangements. Share your preferred dates so the work and supply requirements can be discussed together.

What should I send for a quote?

Your postcode, photographs, plan and supplier’s item list are useful starting points. Include the proposed work, budget range, preferred timescale and any confirmed delivery dates.

Where do you work?

We cover Cardiff, Penarth, Barry, Dinas Powys, Caerphilly, Newport, Cwmbran, Blackwood, Pontypridd, Llantrisant, Cowbridge and Bridgend. Share your postcode when you get in touch.

Part of a bigger change?

Consider the
complete project.

If your kitchen is part of a wider renovation or extension, discuss the whole scope with Greg.
