YOUR ROUTINE.   YOUR SPACE.   THE DETAILS THAT MATTER.
Designed around your routine

More than new fittings.
A room that works.

A better shower. More useful storage. A layout that makes a small room easier to use. Start with what you want to improve, then consider the fittings and work needed to bring it together.

Neart Construction provides bathroom fitting across Cardiff and South Wales. Share your ideas with Greg, whether you’re replacing an existing suite or exploring a different layout. We can discuss the scope and information needed for a quote.

What are you planning?

A considered update.
Or a complete rethink.

Your room, existing services and chosen fittings shape the installation. Tell us what you want to retain and what needs to change.

01 / BATHROOM REPLACEMENT

Refresh the room you have.

Discuss replacing the existing bath, basin, WC or shower within the current layout. Include removal, preparation and finishing work when describing the job.

02 / LAYOUT CHANGES

Make better use of the space.

Considering a bath-to-shower change or moving fittings? Share your ideas so plumbing routes, available space and installation requirements can be discussed together.

03 / EN-SUITES & SMALL ROOMS

Think through every detail.

Explore fitting out an en-suite or smaller bathroom. Discuss door openings, storage, access and the practical requirements of your proposed layout.

Plan beyond the showroom

Choose the look.
Consider what’s behind it.

A useful plan covers how the room will work, not just which suite you choose.

01 / LAYOUT & ACCESS

Picture using the room.

Think about space around each fitting, door movement and storage. Tell us about any current or future access needs before the layout is settled.

02 / PLUMBING & ELECTRICS

Bring the services into the plan.

Share your shower, lighting and heating choices. Changing positions or adding fittings can affect the related work and needs consideration alongside the installation.

03 / SURFACES & MOISTURE

Look beyond the visible finish.

Discuss the condition of walls and floors, preparation, suitable water protection and ventilation. Flag leaks or recurring damp so the cause can be considered before new finishes are installed.

04 / FITTINGS & SUPPLY

Know what’s arriving and when.

Bring product details and dimensions, not just photographs. Confirm who supplies each item, what is included in the fitting package and any delivery constraints.

Understanding the quote

What shapes your
bathroom budget?

Room size alone doesn’t describe the work. Existing condition, layout changes and the chosen specification all matter.

Discuss your installation ↗

Removal & preparation

Taking out the existing suite and preparing walls and floors can involve different amounts of work.

Layout & services

Moving fittings or changing plumbing, electrical and ventilation arrangements affects the scope.

Products & finishes

The suite, shower, screens, storage and chosen wall and floor finishes help define the specification.

Existing condition & access

Known leaks, previous alterations, access and waste removal need consideration before the work is agreed.

For a more complete quoting conversation

Send photographs, approximate dimensions and any plan or product list you have. Include your budget range, preferred dates and which items you intend to supply.

Plan around your household

Your only bathroom?
Tell us at the start.

The installation needs to be considered alongside everyday access to washing and toilet facilities.

Discuss which facilities may be unavailable, at what stages, and what arrangements your household needs before agreeing the programme. Don’t assume a WC or shower can remain usable throughout.

Share delivery dates and any known restrictions. Ask how unexpected findings, delayed fittings or changes to the work will be discussed if they affect the programme.

Your questions

Before we fit.

Can you fit a bathroom suite I’ve already chosen?

Send Greg the product list, dimensions and any supplier’s plan. Discuss compatibility, what needs fitting and which items you or your supplier will provide before the scope is agreed.

Can I replace a bath with a shower?

Share photographs and dimensions of the existing room and details of the shower you have in mind. Space, drainage, services and preparation need consideration before the proposed layout is confirmed.

Do you include plumbing and electrical work?

Neart offers plumbing and electrical services. Discuss the work required for your chosen fittings, lighting and other products as part of the bathroom scope, including anything needing separate specialist consideration.

Can you help with an en-suite?

Tell us about the existing room or space you want to use. Share any drawings and discuss access, fittings and service requirements so the proposed work can be considered.

What about a wet room or level-access shower?

Tell us about your requirements before choosing products. Suitability depends on the room and proposed construction. Discuss the assessment, preparation and specialist work needed before assuming an installation is possible.

Can the layout stay the same?

Yes, discuss replacing fittings within the existing layout. Keeping positions doesn’t remove the need to consider product compatibility, existing services and the condition of surfaces underneath.

How long will the installation take?

The programme depends on preparation, layout changes, products and delivery arrangements. Share your preferred dates and tell us if it is your only bathroom so the practical arrangements can be discussed.

What if a problem is found behind the old fittings?

Before work starts, discuss how findings will be assessed and explained, and how any proposed change to cost or timing will be agreed before affected work proceeds.

Who supplies the fittings and finishes?

Agree this during the quoting conversation. Confirm who orders and checks each item, which products need to be available before work starts and what happens if something arrives damaged or incomplete.

Where do you work?

We cover Cardiff, Penarth, Barry, Dinas Powys, Caerphilly, Newport, Cwmbran, Blackwood, Pontypridd, Llantrisant, Cowbridge and Bridgend. Share your postcode when you get in touch.

Planning other rooms too?

Bring the wider
project together.

Discuss any related work alongside your bathroom plans so the scope and sequence can be considered together.
