Start with what you need

A small repair.
Or part of a bigger plan.

A troublesome tap and a new bathroom need different conversations. Tell us whether something has changed, a fitting needs replacing or you’re planning work as part of a kitchen, bathroom or renovation.

Neart Construction provides plumbing services across Cardiff and South Wales. Share photographs, the property details and what you want to achieve with Greg so we can discuss the scope, availability and information needed for a quote.

What we can help with

Useful work.
A clear starting point.

Share the issue or proposed change first. Existing fittings, access and the intended result guide the discussion.

01 / REPAIRS & REPLACEMENTS

Give everyday fittings attention.

Discuss taps, sinks, basins, WCs and visible pipework that need attention. Include what you’ve noticed, when it started and any previous work.

02 / KITCHENS & BATHROOMS

Plan the services with the room.

Share your chosen fittings and proposed layout. Discuss plumbing alongside installation, preparation and the other work the room needs.

A useful first conversation

Explain the issue.
Share the details.

Good information helps us understand the starting point. Photographs don’t replace an assessment where one is needed.

01 / WHAT YOU’VE NOTICED

Describe the change.

Tell us which fitting or area is affected, when the issue occurs and how long it has been happening. Include any recent changes or earlier repairs.

02 / FITTINGS & PRODUCTS

Bring the specifications.

Share model details for existing or replacement products, along with dimensions and supplier information. Confirm who is supplying each item.

03 / ACCESS & SURFACES

Show the surrounding area.

Include wider photographs as well as close-ups. Cupboards, boxing, flooring and tiled surfaces can affect access and any making-good work.

04 / HOUSEHOLD NEEDS

Plan around everyday use.

Tell us if the work affects your only bathroom, kitchen or an occupied property. Discuss availability of essential facilities and any proposed service interruptions.

Planning a new room?

Choose the fittings.
Consider the connections.

Moving a sink or changing a bathroom layout affects more than the visible finish.

Bring drawings and product details into the conversation early. Discuss the existing arrangement, proposed positions, access and any assessment needed before the work is defined.

If your project includes other trades, consider the sequence together. Clarify which removal, preparation and reinstatement work is included, rather than assuming it is part of the plumbing quote.

What affects
the cost?

The visible fitting is only part of the picture. Access, existing condition and the proposed change help define the work involved.

Repair or replacement scope

The issue, existing condition and proposed fittings affect the job.

Access & pipework changes

Concealed connections and changes to positions may involve different work from an accessible fitting.

Products & supply

Confirm the fittings, parts and materials included, and any items supplied separately.

Related work & finishing

Removal, preparation and reinstatement of surrounding surfaces should be discussed in the scope.

Your questions

Before we begin.

Can you help with a leaking or troublesome fitting?

Tell Greg what is affected, when the issue occurs and what work has already been tried. Share available photographs so the next step and availability can be discussed.

Can you fit products I have already bought?

Send the product specifications, dimensions and installation information. Compatibility, access and what needs fitting should be discussed before the scope is agreed.

Can plumbing be included with kitchen or bathroom fitting?

Yes, discuss the required plumbing as part of the room’s installation scope. Share the plan and chosen products so the related work can be considered together.

Can a sink or basin be moved?

Share the existing and proposed positions, photographs and any drawings. Existing services, access and practical requirements need consideration before a revised layout is agreed.

Will we be without water or bathroom facilities?

The effect depends on the work. Tell us if it concerns your only bathroom or kitchen, and discuss which facilities may be unavailable and the proposed arrangements before work starts.

Do you offer emergency call-outs?

Call 029 2168 0036 to ask about current availability. Our published contact hours are 8:00–22:00, Monday to Sunday. Sending an enquiry does not confirm an immediate attendance or booking.

Can I enquire about a boiler, gas appliance or heating work?

Describe the appliance and work when you contact Greg. The team needs to confirm whether the request is within scope and which specialist would be required before any work is agreed.

How much will the work cost?

A meaningful quote needs a defined scope. Share your property details, photographs and proposed work so Greg can discuss what further information is needed.

Where do you work?

We cover Cardiff, Penarth, Barry, Dinas Powys, Caerphilly, Newport, Cwmbran, Blackwood, Pontypridd, Llantrisant, Cowbridge and Bridgend. Share your postcode when you get in touch.

Part of a bigger project?

Bring the room
together.

Discuss plumbing alongside the rest of your installation or renovation.
